Svetozar Mijailović was born on January 8, 1947 in Lopaš, near Požega, Užice.
He graduated from the Faculty of Organizational Sciences and obtained the title of engineer of work organization. He was employed at the Institute for Technology Transfer, Engineering and Marketing in Belgrade. He is one of the founders of the Association of National Representatives of Serbia. Prominent long-term social and sports worker. He was the president of Serbian Youth (1973-1977), president of SOFK Serbia (1978-1982), president of SOFK Belgrade (1982-1986), president of the Assembly of FC Crvena zvezda (1987-1993), president of FC Crvena zvezda (2014 - until today ), vice president of the Football Association of Belgrade (1996-2000), Minister of Sports in the Government of the Republic of Serbia (2000).
He is the recipient of the May Award of the Serbian Football Association, the Order of Labour, the Award of the Football Association of Serbia, several Awards of the Crvena zvezda Sports Society, the Charter of the Association of National Representatives of Serbia and many other social and sporting awards.
