Red Star Belgrade players won the Serbian Championship for the 2022/23 season, thus securing their sixth consecutive national championship title, with six rounds to go, making this competitive year one of the most dominant in the history of our club. Crvena Zvezda After 31 games played, they recorded 27 wins and four draws for 85 points, which meant only one thing, and that was that the red and whites became champions in the first round of the playoffs.
The first record broken in the 2022/2023 season is that this is the only generation of Red Star in the club's history to win six consecutive championship titles. However, this is a generation that is breaking its own record, given that previously, Red Star managed to become champions three times in a row on two occasions (1968, 1969, 1970; 1990, 1991, 1992). By winning the Serbian Super League next season, our club's first team players would achieve the best result in the history of Serbian football with seven national championship titles in a row.
That's not all, because this is the earliest title won in the club's history, or rather, we have equaled the generation from the 1976/77 season led by Gojko Zec. Then, in the 28th round, with a 3:1 victory over Zagreb, we managed to win the title, six rounds before the end of the season. However, that title was won on May 18, and this one almost a month earlier.

With the triumph in the Serbian Cup final over the Čukarički team, a historic third double crown in a row was won, and the generation from the 2022/2023 season is the only one of our club, but also of Serbian football, to achieve this.
The Red and Whites have triumphed 30 times, while seven matches ended in a draw. They have collected a total of 97 points, while the goal difference after 37 rounds of the domestic championship was 96:19.
Aleksandar Katai was the top scorer with 17 goals in the championship, while Gelor Kanga and Mirko Ivanić each had 12 assists. In the end, we finished the season 22 points ahead of the first runner-up in the standings.
The generation that wore the red and white jersey in the 2022/23 season is the only one that, by winning the Serbian championship title, managed to achieve direct qualification to the Champions League, and the first in Europe.
