State Champions 2014.

With a 4:2 victory over OFK Belgrade in the penultimate 29th round, Crvena zvezda secured their 27th national championship title, and their first after a six-year hiatus. The scorers in this match were Darko Lazović, Nejc Pečnik, Dragan Mrđa and Miloš Ninković. There was no organized celebration of the title, due to the floods that had hit Serbia earlier, which caused many material and human losses.

The defeat at the start of the Super League in Ivanjica against Javor 4:2 and the elimination in the Europa League qualifiers did not indicate that Crvena Zvezda in the end, they reached the finish line first. However, coach Slaviša Stojanović was able to make good use of all the potential of Miloš Ninković and captain Nenad Milijaš, using their quality and lucidity to create a strong team and an attacking game that, after a weak start, began to break down all obstacles in front of it.

The first eternal derby of the season was greeted with a four-point gap to Partizan, but in an extremely competitive match, a 1:0 triumph was achieved with an own goal by Obradović, and it was then clear that Zvezda was entering the title fight. By the end of autumn, all victories were recorded, and the only stain was the defeat to Vojvodina in the cup at Marakana and early elimination.
