Goalkeeper Boško Kajganić shone in the autumn eternal derby, but the entire championship was marked by the championship's top scorer, center forward Zoran Filipović.

- The goals I scored against Hajduk, especially the one in Split, as well as against Dinamo in Zagreb, are certainly the most memorable for me. In a way, they marked a turning point in the championship. The hardest thing was to give goals to the national team goalkeepers, Svilar and Katalinić - said Zoran Filipović.

Crvena Zvezda was convincingly in the end, with a nine-point difference compared to the first runner-up Dinamo Zagreb. The final balance of the red and whites was 20 wins, 10 draws and four losses. The goal difference was 67:37, with a total of 50 points won.
