At the end of the last century, Crvena Zvezda defended the cup trophy, having triumphed in this competition in 2000. In the final played on May 10 at Marakana, in front of 30,000 spectators, there was only one team on the field of our largest stadium: Crvena Zvezda – Progress 4:0. The scorers against Kruševac were Pjanović (2), Ilić and Vukomanović.
