Cup winners 1959.

Marshal Tito Cup trophy, Crvena Zvezda defended it in 1959, defeating Partizan 3:1 in the final. There were 50,000 spectators at the JNA stadium, and the goals for Red Star were scored by: Maravić in the 11th and Kostić in the 57th and 70th minutes from penalties.

Previously Crvena Zvezda eliminated Elektrostroy from Zagreb, Radnicki (S), Lokomotiva from Zagreb and Rijeka. The best scorer in Red Star's history, Bora Kostić, had a fantastic goal-scoring performance in the cup competition: 5 matches - 11 goals.
