Football club Crvena Zvezda traditionally hosted and made happy neglected children from Zvečanska, the Belgrade Children's Shelter, the Center for Family Accommodation and Adoption in Niš, the "Rada Vranješ" Children's Home in Banja Luka, as well as the "Dr Nikola Šumenković" Home for Children and People with Developmental Disabilities, located in the territory of the Petrovac na Mlavi municipality, at Marakana before Easter. 

Among the numerous former football players who participated in the humanitarian event held in Skopje was former Red Star and Vardar player Goran Popov.
