Fleet-footed winger Nemanja Radonjić missed weeks of action in late 2017 through injury, but he's back in action now and preparing for the second half of the season with the rest of the team.
„I've done a lot of fitness work with a personal fitness coach in December. There was a bit of fear when I started to run again, but that fear is gone now. I'm feeling better and I'm working hard to return to full fitness.“
That nasty foot injury is now history and Nemanja is getting through some gruelling training in Paphos, Cyprus.
“It’s not easy at this stage because it’s mostly fitness work, but I feel good because I started a bit earlier than the rest of the lads. It’s a case of just training and sleeping now, because the sessions are very demanding. In fact, I’m barely awake now (laughs).”
“We’re looking forward to the friendlies we’ve got coming up because we all miss playing games.”
