Zvezda clinch the earliest title in club history

The red-and-whites have secured their 36th national championship title - their eighth consecutive - highlighting the dominance of Vladan Milojević’s team in domestic football. Crvena zvezda mathematically secured the title with seven rounds to go, making this the earliest title win in the club’s history.

With this achievement, they have surpassed the record set by Zvezda squads from the 1976/77 and 2022/23 seasons, who won their titles with six rounds of fixtures remaining. The generation led by Gojko Zec clinched the title on 18 May 1977 in the 28th round.

That success was matched in the 2022/23 season when, under the guidance of Miloš Milojević, Crvena zvezda secured their 34th title in the first round of the playoffs with a 4:1 victory over TSC on 22 April.
