Belgrade and Novi Sad red and white have met in 208 duels so far, and "Stara dama" is considered one of the clubs with which we have played the most matches. Our club emerged victorious from 119 duels, the result was a draw 49 times, and the people from Novi Sad won 40 games. An interesting fact is that the ball hit the net as many as 608 times, and the goal difference is on Zvezda's side and is 392:216.

The last meeting between Red Star and Vojvodina took place on February 4 this year in the 20th round of the domestic championship, at the spring premiere of our club. The duel at the Maracana ended with a score of 1:1, and the match took place under the sign of the legend of Red Star - Sinisa Mihajlović, to whom all star players officially said goodbye on that day. It will remain recorded that Aleksandar Katai scored the only goal for the Belgrade red and white in the middle of the first half of the game with a beautiful lob shot.

Crvena zvezda has already mathematically secured the title of champion of Serbia, the sixth in a row. However, our club has a clear goal until the end of the season. Currently, we have achieved 29 victories in 34 games, with five draws, which makes us the only undefeated team in the championship. We won 92 points, and the red-white goal difference is the best in the league and is 91:15. After the elimination of Napredek from Kruševac in the quarter finals of the Serbian Cup, Miloš Milojević's team defeated Voždovac in the previous round of the Serbian Super League with 2:0 on the away field. The scorers in the previous victory were Aleksandar Pešić and Jovan Mijatović.

Vojvodina takes fifth place in the Serbian Superliga table with a total of 61 points. "Stara dama" from Novi Sad recorded 16 victories, 13 draws and five defeats, with a goal difference of 55:30. The team from "Karađorđa" has triumphed three times in the playoffs so far (Radnički Niš, Voždovac and Novi Pazar), tied once (Radnički 1923) and lost by a minimal score against Čukarički in the previous round. Vojvodina is still in the race for a place in the table that leads to the qualifications for the international European competition.

The best scorer of Vojvodina is the fast winger Nikola Čumić with nine scored goals, and he is followed on the list by the former footballer of our club - Veljko Simić and offensive midfielder Uroš Nikolić, with seven goals scored in the current part of the championship.

When it comes to positions on the field, a place among the posts is reserved for the young Lazar Tsarević. Milan Lazarevic is the most standard in the position of right back, while the experienced team captain Stefan Đorđević, also a former member of Crvena zvezda, who shares minutes with the young Filip Antonijevic, is on the left side of the Spartans.
