In the third round of the championship, Vladan Milojević's team met with the Tekstilac team. The head of our team's coaching staff decided on a changed lineup for the first away game in the 2024/25 season compared to the previous two matches that were played at the Maracana. The opportunity to debut for Red Star was given to Seol and Milson, who were in the starting line-up. The first opportunity of the match was seen in the 12th minute, when Ivanić sent a shot from distance, but Zvezda's midfielder was inaccurate. Although our first team players had the initiative in the first 30 minutes of the match in Bačka Palanka and caused problems for the defensive line of Tekstilac, the result on the scoreboard remained unchanged.

Two chances followed for Sherif Endiaje, in the 55th and 57th minutes, and in both situations, the Zvezda striker had the opportunity to add himself to the list of scorers after Prutsev's crosses and headers, but the result remained unchanged. Zvezda's Senegalese did not stop there, as already in the 63rd minute he sent a header and shook the Tekstil net, after an excellent cross from In Bom Hwang. Zvezda's six made an attractive attempt just 180 seconds later, but Hwang lacked a bit of precision to extend our team's lead. 

In addition to Milson, Timmy Elshnik also had his dream debut, who only needed 15 minutes on the field for his debut in the red and white jersey. It was the 69th minute when he sent a shot from the penalty area and beat the goalkeeper of Tekstilac, and Sherif Endiaje scored the assist. Five minutes later, a spirited Prutsev shot from the penalty area into the near corner, but the goalkeeper of the home team found himself in the right place. In the 77th minute, Duarte tried the shot, but our goal scorer lacked a little accuracy to score in the third consecutive game. Zvezda's Brazilian took advantage of the very next opportunity and made it 0:4, when in the 83rd minute he tricked several players of the home team and routinely beat the Tekstil goalkeeper.
