We didn't have to wait long until the first concrete opportunity from our team's footballers, when Bubanja almost gave the red and whites the lead with a header in the third minute, although the ball ended up just past the post. Zvezda continued to besiege the goal of the black and whites, and in the 14th minute Vasilić shot from the edge of the penalty area after Avdić put the ball away for him, but Jovanović managed to save. It was no less dangerous two minutes later when Ranković played for Kostov, who managed to get past the Partizan stopper, but not in a duel with Jovanović, who picked up the ball.

Jovanović was up to the task even in the 24th minute when Đorđević played past Vasilić, and he shot obliquely from the right side, with insufficient accuracy. It would be unrealistic if Partizan managed to resist the dangerous attacks of our team for longer, given that they were constantly playing in the home team's half. The game was played in the 30th minute when Ranković, after breaking through, put the ball on the right flank for Uroš Đorđević, and he positioned himself and accurately hit the "small" net from ten meters. Đorđević was in a good position in the 42nd minute after Kostov's solo breakthrough, but from the same place where he scored a little earlier, this time the offensive player from Kruševac shot past the post.

The Partizan footballers managed to establish a rhythm in the continuation and equalize in the 63rd minute when Draškić deflected Kostić's shot onto Bajramović's head. Vasilić could have given us a new lead three minutes later, but he was blocked at the last moment.

Again, the center of gravity of the game shifted to the half of the black and whites, and the crucial opportunity in the 70th minute was not used by Mišić, whose shot from the box managed to be stopped by the defending Jovanović. Then came three opportunities for a cheerful Đorđević, in the 76th, 79th and 81st minutes. On all three occasions, Jovanović managed to stop the quick-footed attacker's shots, and the most dangerous was on the last occasion when he shot straight at the Partizan goalkeeper from a few meters away. The crossbar also shook in the 84th minute when reserve player Tošić shot from the edge of the penalty area, but luck was not on our team's side. And as it happens in football, a penalty followed on the other side, when Bajramović stepped out alone in front of Draškić, and in the 85th minute brought victory to the home team. At the end of the match, Stolić could have brought our team an equaliser, but another goal remained unused.
