The pioneers of our team were the first to threaten in today's derby, already in the third minute when Matanović deceived his keeper with a lucid dribble, and then played a great ball into the area past Kikić, who tried to hit the ground, but his shot was saved by Perić. Slavisa Šuša's players had another great chance in the 24th minute after the break, but the score did not change. Everything was preceded by a cross from the right corner, sent by Matanović, and then the ball fell in the home team's penalty area and reached Rajić, who headed in from close range, but his attempt went over the crossbar of the goal, which was defended by Perić. Finally, the initiative of the red and whites bore fruit in the 34th minute of the match. Kikić started everything with a great penetration on the right flank, whose first shot was saved by Perić, and then Trpevski ran into the rebound, who hit the crossbar. Filip Lazović ran into the home team and placed it in the undefended net for the lead of our pioneers.

Slavisa Šuša's players did not leave anything to chance in the rest of the game, and despite the lead, they continued with the field initiative. It paid off once again in the 49th minute of the match, when first the scorer of the first goal - Lazović, phenomenally passed his keeper on the right flank like a fast train, and then he employed Mihajlo Banković, who was in the very "heart" of the opponent's penalty area, and hit the hosts' "small net" with a precise shot and thus gave Red Star a two-goal advantage. Our pioneers played and looked unstoppable on the field. Very fluid play in the attack brought results, and already in the 52nd minute, the red and whites reached the third goal. Again, Lazović was causing big problems on the right flank, and he shot, and then Uroš Kikić ran to the saved shot, who just passed the ball into the goal of our eternal rival. The red and whites got to the fourth goal in the 68th minute when, assisted by Matanović, Perić beat reserve player Filip Obradinović after a great dribble. In the 75th minute, Mihajlo Banković scored the second goal of today's game, i.e. the fifth for Crvena zvezda, when he scored a goal assisted by Trpevski in the crowd in the home team's penalty area.
