Milojević: Hot blood and a cool head for a positive result

- The derby is a game that is a celebration of Serbian football and maybe our and their results do not reflect that, and it is not as interesting as usual, but we all have an obligation to hold that game at the highest possible level. We approach it as seriously as possible with the same attitude as always - to win, regardless of whether we play at home, abroad, in Europe, we always go for triumph. We respect the rival, the "wounded lion" is the most dangerous, but we value ourselves and I think we have the quality and confidence to play a good match and achieve a positive result - Milojević began.

No additional motivation is needed for the derby.

- It will not be difficult to motivate the players for the derby, because it is a big game. Maybe the players are not very motivated when we go outside Belgrade, but here they are. For the derby, we need hot blood and a cool head, so that it turns out well. We showed in the last derby that we can play good football, it lasted about 40 minutes, and now the goal is to increase it. I don't think the players are comfortable, but the human brain works that way to try to invest the minimum and achieve the maximum. It is no different for players, especially those with six titles. You have to be critical, but also fair to them, because it's a big feat, but my job and that of everyone in the club is to ask for more. Maybe we expect too much, and they give as much as it takes to be plus 20. We can't be unrealistic.

There will be space for young players until the end of the season.

- As I said, I think that the derby doesn't need any motivation or any additional conversation. He bursts in training, you might not believe it, but it's true. We have a situation where, in addition to winning titles, we can form players, we know how much the public likes it. You saw the trend and while we were chasing the title, they played, I hope they will play even more. I don't categorize them as young, but they are good players who are in Zvezda and deserve to play. Now they are eager and eager to bring the championship to an end. We don't calculate, but we can always put five young players to see where they are and what they are, and that way they gain experience through continuity.

Despite winning the title, our club's ambitions do not end there when it comes to the current season.

- Nothing changes when it comes to goals, everything I've been saying since I arrived is like that. The first thing was to play Europe correctly, and I think we did in those two games where we should have achieved a better result, we didn't, and we were eliminated. The title was a priority, the Serbian Cup is also, especially when you are in Zvezda and defending the trophy, but the goal is also to create a base of young players that can bring results and earnings. That is the goal, I take care of it and I know what I said and when, so there is no point from which I deviated. Already during the preparations, I saw how many minutes someone can get, some played even more and it is clear that they have quality, but they lack continuity. It is not enough that you are young and in Zvezda, but that you also have statistics to be recognized in the larger market.

However, when it comes to the lineup for tomorrow, there are no calculations.

- Everyone should be motivated, regardless of whether they start or come off the bench. It is not a problem to replace anyone after 20 or 50 minutes. Tomorrow they will play the best for that match, and until the end of the season we have eight more games, if we enter the cup final and have the opportunity for everyone to show themselves. Only two players have not played for me yet, they are Spajić and Miladinović. Someone like Katai or Dragović plays regularly, someone less, but all of them emphasized what they can do and how much they can do.

Milojević regrets that the derby will be played in front of empty stands.

- A derby without an audience is not a derby and football is played for the fans. You see, wherever the atmosphere was football and not theatrical, everyone felt better, however, the decision was made. As for me, I would like it to be 20 thousand of them and 20 thousand of us, so whoever is louder should be heard more, although I know it would be us. So, it will certainly be more difficult for us.

Milojević referred to the fact that the eternal rival is not very effective this spring.

- We hope they won't give us a goal either. I think they played the second game against Čukarički correctly, they were unlucky with the conceded goal, but statistically and subjectively, I think they were slightly better than their rivals, so it was not a realistic result. However, kudos to Čukarički for the victory, that's what is written.

Zvezda is the first, but a trench battle is being fought who will occupy the other positions that lead to Europe.

- We are all used to the duo - Zvezda and Partizan, but if TSC or Čukarički are good enough, I have no problem with them being near the top, because you can see everything on the field. When you have 20 points more than your opponent, it seems easy, but you need to have character to win in Niš and Novi Pazar in the last minute. That's where the title is won. Well, now in England the question of the champion may be solved directly, but if Arsenal had been winning "small" games, they would have been the first. I think that everyone, Zvezda, Partizan, TSC, Čukarički, and Vojvodina should be 20 percent better, because that's how the level of Serbian football rises. Also, when the playing conditions are 50 percent better, when there is even more media coverage and when problems are not looked for where there are none, but solutions are approached constructively, it will be better.

- I would be satisfied if we win all the games to the end and win the cup. Every victory, even in training, is dear to me - concluded Milojević.
