Milojević: With a full Maracana and a good game to the double crown

- We will have a good game, preparation for what awaits Zvezda in the fall. When it comes to Čukarički, I expect a young and enthusiastic team, eager to prove themselves and fight for the remaining trophy in the season, so I believe that my players will be responsible and win the Cup of Serbia in front of a full Maracana - Milojević began.

The perspective expert looks back on the results from the current season.

- I'm sorry that I didn't win the Europa League... Joking aside, I have no regrets, no reservations, it's a bit pathetic, and I'm not like that. I think we have done a lot of good things in terms of the development of the game, but also the affirmation of the players in terms of giving young people a chance, the consistency of the games, despite the fact that our championship is not La Liga or Serie A, but 35 rounds to be unbeaten, with six of Deki's games, that is an impressive figure. It is not the first time, it happened two years ago, but it is an indicator of stability. Some things we could have done better, some not, but it all points to the fact that we got a lot out of it, with a bit of luck that we didn't have, and that's deserved, we could spend the winter in Europe, and even play in the Conference League. It's football and sometimes the time of work and results don't coincide, sometimes it comes later, but I have no reservations and I'm happy that I was there when we won the title and I expect the boys to give their best tomorrow. Everything is possible in football, I'm not going to celebrate in advance, and I respect Čukarički as well as every team in the Super League, but I hope that we will win with our game. We are also aware that with a victory, this generation would become the only one with three double crowns in a row in Zvezda's rich history, and we know how big it is.

Although Zvezda achieved three victories against Čukaricki this season, Milojević believes that a different game awaits us.

- The cup is the most massive competition where even smaller teams from lower ranks see their chance and go beyond the maximum possibilities. When you let your guard down and you're not at your best, it can be a problem, and that's why I call for caution and responsibility. It is certainly our part of the job that the players are at their maximum on Thursday, but it will not be easy, even though we have beaten Cukaricki three times this season. It will be a different game, a different kind of competition, the final is something completely different and it has nothing to do with the championship, and they are weakened, but it is a team that has been systematically launching young players for years, who solve games without burden and responsibility and can threaten the opponent. So, we have to understand those three victories as the past, this is a new game where every pass matters, where every duel counts.

Milojević analyzed the Čukaricki team.

- The regulation of the FSS and the people who sign the contract, not only in Serbia, but in every country, is that loaned players can or cannot play against the parent club. It is not a question for me, although it is good for us that Popović, Pankov and Lucić will not play, and again, if they are not already performing for Zvezda, it is logical that they are available to Čukarički. Certainly, it is not a question for me. Čukarički is a good team, they have Badamosi, Ivanović, Ovusu, Tomović, Docić from the break, there is also Tošić and it is not just a collection of players, but they have continuity. I have met in the past with them and with foreign teams, I know what and how much they can do and I think the key is to control the game and then individuals are less important. When we are in control, then all the quality is on our side.

Milojević also spoke about penalties.

- Penalties are not practiced just like that, before the game, but systematically. When you shoot in every practice, you have a record and you follow it, and if a player took 20 penalties and hit 19, then he is certainly there as a performer. In Malmö, the statistics about penalties were kept by the fitness coach during training sessions, and when we beat Hammarby in the cup final, I consulted with him about who should take the penalty and after the game I even apostrophized that it was his merit. There are statistics, but also emotional stress, the goal decreases when there are a lot of people in the stadium and it can be missed. However, what is up to you as a professional staff, you should do as much as possible. I cried after the penalty in Cyprus against Omonia, but I also rejoiced after Hammarby when I was in Malmö, so, I would like the game to be decided in 90 minutes.

About the time of the match.

- That's how the appointment was set, and I'm a professional and I come when I'm told. It is not easy for the interior, maybe to come at 9 p.m., but there will never be an appointment that suits everyone, however, love for Zvezda is the guiding principle. When I was a child, I used to come 350 kilometers from Knjaževac to watch Zvezda, both in the snow and in the sleet, so if you want to watch the game, there is always a solution. I wanted to watch the game in Oslo, changed three planes and arrived, and it is clear to me that not all people have the means for that, but joint arrival, transport, agreement, everything is not ideal, but it is feasible.

There is no doubt, tomorrow he will play the best 11 for Zvezda.

- The final of the Serbian Cup is too important an event to experiment. Everyone is here, ready, I have 24 players at my disposal, I will have to leave four out of the squad, but I hope that the first 11, along with the five who come from the bench, will be maximally motivated and ready, and that we will all enjoy football in a nice environment - he said is Milojevic.
