Competitively important game for Crvena zvezda, which was in the race for the championship title until the last round, started with the red and white offensive. This was the third match of Slađan Nikolić's team without seven Serbian national team members, who reached the quarter-finals of the European Championship with the Serbian under-17 national team, where they finished the competition.
Zvezda started attacking right from the start and we saw the first opportunity already in the seventh minute when Uroš Ilić, after a cross from Đorđević from a corner, sent a header right next to the right post of Grafičar's goal. Vasilić had the best chance in the first part of the first half, when he hit the post from eleven meters from Mijušković's goal on a return pass from Golubović.
Ramadani, on the other hand, threatened in the 28th minute, and his shot from distance ended up over the goal. In the 33rd minute, the score changed, and we saw a beautiful goal by Uroš Ilić, who sent a cross from the left flank, and the ball entered with surgical precision into the small net of Grafičar's goal for the celebration of the red and whites, and with the score 0:1 went on break.
The second half continued in the same rhythm, and Red Star crowned the initiative already in the 51st minute. The excellent Vasilić took advantage of Mijušković's lapse in concentration, intercepted the ball and routinely implemented a one-on-one situation.
In the 63rd minute, a great action by Graficar was converted into a goal by the reserve Krstić, assisted by Gačić, who routinely beat Višnjić from five meters away from the goal. Just three minutes later, Krstić made an excellent assist from the corner, and Ajduković scored accurately to level the score at 2:2.
However, Crvena zvezda showed why it is one of the best teams in the championship. In the 80th minute, we saw a beautiful breakthrough by Dragan Tegeltija, who pulled the ball towards the center of the field from the right flank, and then sent a shot close to the penalty area. With the help of the post, the ball shook the net, and Slađan Nikolić's team regained the lead. Five minutes later, Ivanovic took advantage of Pavlović's recklessness, took the ball from him twenty meters from the goal, which was defended by Andrijašević in the rest of the match and was a routine executor for the final result and a point for the 2022/23 competitive season.
