The players of Crvena Zvezda entered the match aggressively and attacking, while the guests were oriented on defense. Mijatović had the first concrete opportunity in the seventh minute when Kraso passed on the right side and assisted our striker who shot over the goal. Millimeters separated Krasos from opening the Radnik net in the ninth minute, when he duly beat Ranđelović with a volley, and then headed over the goal from Endiaje's corner. The "Bunker" was breached in the 19th minute when Ivanić practically blocked the ball for Jovan Mijatović, and he fantastically hit the "small" net for the red and whites to take the lead.
Krasso drew applause from all those present at the Maracana when, in the 28th minute, after a series of dribbles, he put Endiaje to work, but the Senegalese striker shot wide of the goal from a slightly more difficult position. The visitors could not win the aerial duel against Mijatović, so our striker was the highest in the jump after a corner in the 40th minute, but shot straight at Randjelović. The most notable in the ranks of our team, along with the scorer Mijatović, was also Kraso, who acted as a playmaker and "packaged" chances, so in the 44th minute he found Endiaje, who failed to score from a run-up.
At the start of the second half, Bahar made two changes, sending Rodić and Olanjinka onto the field. The impeccable Uroš Spajić deserved to crown a great game with a goal, which happened in the 54th minute when Kangva crossed for him after a shortened break, and the experienced stopper in the style of an attacker, jerked the ball with his head and beat Ranđelović. Bahar continued to look towards the bench, so Bukari and Lucic got a chance. Bukari had a characteristic breakthrough in the 67th minute when he ran in front of the goalkeeper from the right side, but Randjelovic came out more successful from that duel.
The visitors reduced the score in the 70th minute when Tomasevic managed to score from 25 meters. Bahar also made the last change in the 76th minute when he sent Hwang on the field in order to gain dynamism in the middle of the field. Nedeljković is not allowed to score his first goal for Zvezda, although he often gets into opportunities, so Ranđelović also saved a shot from the 81st minute. Bukari and Kangwa had the goals until the end of the match, but Gelor Kanga set the final score in the 90th minute. Kangva and Lućić combined, and the captain of the young Serbian national team was illegally stopped in the rival's penalty area. Kanga took charge and put an end to the match.
