Another effective game by the players of Crvena Zvezda led by Barak Bahar from the bench, and this time Napredak was defeated by a score of 4:0. Just like at the opening of the Super League when he took the epithet of the player of the round, Jean-Philippe Crasso dominated again with two goals and one assist to lead Zvezda to another victory. Apart from the representative of the Ivory Coast, Osman Bukari and Srđan Mijailović, who made his debut in competitive matches wearing the Zvezda jersey, also scored, and Stefan Mitrović and Vladimir Lučić improved the assist balance.

Despite the bad weather conditions and the rain that poured "like from a cable", it did not discourage Zvezda's first team from entering the new game completely attacking, and it all paid off already in the fifth minute. Namely, Mitrović outsmarted Đeković, who hit him in the shin, and the referee Đorđević pointed to the penalty spot, from where the safe performer was Jean-Philippe Crasso. After playing as a stopper at the start of the season, the all-rounder Mijailović moved to the middle of the field and sent a great pass to Bukari in the 12th minute, but the shot of the Ghana representative ended up over the goal. Stamenić, who today found himself in a somewhat more offensive role, attempted a shot in the 25th minute, but he shot wide of the post. The action ended in a similar way five minutes later, when Stamenić, after a series of dribbles on the left side, sent Lučić to work, and he shot wide.
Zvezda played, and the epilogue was seen in the 35th minute when Kraso made a fantastic job of Osman Bukari, who managed to beat the badly positioned Bajić from a "dead" corner. Another goal was seen two minutes later when Srđan Mijailović made his debut in competitive matches in the Crvena zvezda jersey. Namely, Lučić dribbled on the left side and played a return pass for Mijailović, who masterfully raised his head to see where Bajić was standing, and then hit the "small" net from a distance of 25 meters. In the calm of the first part of the game, Kraso could have scored, but he shot over the crossbar.
A masterful move by Lučić marked the start of the second half when, in the 49th minute, he pushed the ball through the legs of Mršić, and then forced the visitors' defender to foul him from behind and earn a card. Glazer had his first intervention only in the 65th minute, but with a great parade he showed that he remained concentrated the whole time, despite the fact that the guests hardly threatened. And when it seemed that everything was calm, Kraso entered the scene again, and after the combination of Šljivić and Bukari, he powerfully hit the "small" net from 20 meters in the 71st minute. That set the final result, even though Zvezda's players wanted to reach the third "firecracker" in a row.
