The match started slowly, where the home team tried to "deaden" the game with passes in the last line or in the middle, while Zvezda tried to move the center of gravity in front of Bode's goal by quickly gaining possession. However, in the first opportunity Meta had, Ilić was quite confident. Zvezda relied on Endiaje, who would receive the ball 25 meters from the goal, and then distribute it further, mostly to Olanjinka, who, it seemed, was more advanced than Ilic on the right flank. The danger was in front of our goal in the 28th minute when Spajić intervened a millisecond before Meta could catch the shot and threaten Ilić. It shook and crossed the crossbar ten minutes later when Shefold shot from the edge of the penalty area, Ilić was close to the ball, but the frame of the goal prevented the goal. Hwang retaliated, practically in the next attack, but the ball ended up over the goal. Zvezda scored a goal in the 44th minute, when Ilić practically hit Endiaje who was standing in the box, then the center forward from Senegal routinely beat Hajkin, but before that he found himself in minimal offside, so the goal was disallowed.

Ilić also intervened in the 47th minute when Evjen shot from a turn, but our goalkeeper was well placed on the first post and easily controlled the ball.
