The legendary Red Star footballers continued to achieve success in the third decade of the club's existence. The red and whites won four championships in 1968, 1969, 1970 and 1973, as well as three cups in 1968, 1970 and 1971, along with two double crowns and the Mitropa Cup (1968), as well as two European semi-finals.

The second decade of Red Star was even more successful than the first.
