The meeting between two friendly teams, the red-white and purple guys who share the home field, started quite evenly, but Zvezda was the one who got the chance first, from which they also took the lead in the 15th minute. The defender of the "guests" - Luka Nikolić played with his hand in his penalty area after Novak Gojkov's shot, and Andrej Petrović was safe from the penalty spot. Grafičar got the first real chance in the 34th minute and he also knew how to use it, as Luka Nikolić equalized with a beautiful half-volley shot from 18 meters. We were close to seeing another Eurogoal in the match when Andrej Petrović shot from the edge of the penalty area from a free kick at the very forks, but Ivan Lainović stopped him with a great parry and thus kept the tie before going to the break.
The second half continued with the initiative of Nenad Milijaš's team, so after six minutes, reserve player Mladenović was the first to have an opportunity when he ran to the rebound and shot strongly, but hit only the outer part of the net. The Zvezda players continued to press in their desire to regain the lead, but new excitement was waiting until the 70th minute. Lečić reacted excellently with his head after Petrović's cross from a free kick and sent the ball into the net, but the assistant referee announced and signaled an offside position. The wall set up by the Graficara juniors was finally breached four minutes later when the Senegalese who came off the bench - Modu Fol, reacted best to the rebound after Petrović's corner and brought relief to our team and a peaceful continuation of the duel. The red and whites brought the match to an end very calmly, and they could have celebrated more convincingly through Vasilić in stoppage time, but the goalkeeper of Grafos reacted once again, so the final score was 2:1.
