Crvena zvezda can really boast of a large number of fans among acting legends, both older and younger. One of them was the great bard of Serbian theater, Danilo Bata Stojković.

Bata was born in Belgrade on August 11, 1934, he grew up in Čuburi, and together with his brother he fell in love with football and, of course, Zvezda.

As he points out in an interview for Zvezda revue, he started following football when he was only four years old, and in the pre-war period he was a fan of FK Yugoslavia. After the end of the war, the old clubs were shut down and new ones were formed, and as all Bata's idols performed for Crvena Zvezda - the decision was easy.

Crvena zvezda has always been a people's club, and for Partizan, guys who had served their military service performed, the people didn't like that, and almost no one in Belgrade supported them, added Danilo Bata Stojković in an interview for our newspaper.

Danilo Stojković left us in 2002, and we will always fondly remember the role of the legendary Bata in the greatest film productions, such as Throat in the Strawberries, Balkan Spy, Collection Center and a handful of other productions that left a deep mark on Serbian cinematography.

What will remain legendary is his love for sports and Red Star, and Bata's statement from January 1991 is remembered, when he said: "Red Star has finally put together a team that looks like a real suite, and everyone knows their division. As in the theater, they struggle with the space and the obstacles in that space. Football and acting have more points of contact than people think."

You can see a lot of interesting details in the show.
