Zvezda presented donations to monasteries in Kosovo and Metohija

For the second year in a row, our club is visiting the heart of Serbia - Kosovo and Metohija, and Crvena zvezda will do everything to make it a tradition. The red and white delegation visited the Holy Healer Monastery in Vračevo, the Saint Petka Monastery in Ulija near Leposavic and witnessed the glory of the Banjska Monastery, the endowment of King Milutin. Then we headed to Gračanica, and then we visited the churches and monastery in Velika Hoča, a Serbian enclave near Orahovac - the Church of St. Stephen, the Monastery of St. John, and the Church of St. Nicholas in this small town.

Also, Zvezda's delegation visited the Serbian enclave in Orahovac, and presented the children with numerous props and things decorated with the coat of arms of their beloved club. The representatives of Zvezda then went to the Monastery of the Holy Archangels in Prizren - the endowment of Emperor Dušan. Then the tour continued with arrival at the Theological Seminary in Prizren and the Church of Our Lady of Ljeviška. The visit ended with the agreement that Red Star will be involved in the development of various projects of the seminary, as well as in emphasizing the influence and importance of the Church of the Virgin of Ljeviška, also an endowment of King Milutin.

The next destination was the Dečani Monastery, with which we have had extremely close relations for a long time and we cooperate closely, both on the preservation of the monastery and the Serbs in that area and helping them. In the end, as was the case the previous year, we arrived at the Patriarchate of Peć, with which the "Delije" foundation has a long-standing excellent cooperation.

During their stay in Kosovo, the representatives of our club met with a great welcome at every location they visited. The hosts pointed out with great joy that, in addition to material aid, the support and energy that we transfer to them is extremely important, in order to cope with all the adversities that have befallen the Serbian people in the territory that is our hearth for centuries.

Kosovo has always been the heart of Serbia, the place where the most beautiful Serbian endowments, monasteries, and churches are located, which are proof of the centuries-old life of our people on the territory of Kosovo and Metohija. To this day, along with faith, tradition remains the strongest motive for the Serbian people to stay in Kosovo, and Crvena Zvezda says on this occasion that it will always be with them.
