Great work was done in Zlatibor, and we saw the stamp of the new head of the coaching staff of Red Star in the preparatory matches, but we are still expecting to see the real face of our club in the final part of the preparations in Russia. The almost complete team for the upcoming season proved itself to Barak Bahar, and we are happy that a large number of Zvezda's children managed to impose themselves and showed that they will be an important factor in the matches of the red and whites in the domestic championship, the Cup, and the Champions League. Thus, in the first match against Selection Uzice, played on June 26, the first goal for Red Star was scored by Jovan Mijatović assisted by Stefan Mitrović, while the remaining two goals in our team's 3:1 victory were scored by Aleksandar Katai and Marko Gobeljić. The second match was played three days later against Borac from Banja Luka, and we again celebrated with a two-goal advantage, this time the result was 2:0. The scorers were Stefan Mitrović and Vladimir Lučić, and the assistants were Jovan Mijatović and Jovan Šljivić.

After returning from Zlatibor on June 29, Barak Bahar's players had two free days, while tonight they will travel to Russia, where they will do the second part of the preparations and play three friendly matches.
