When you spend a full 18 years in Red Star, and you have 1000 games behind you, then there is no doubt that you are a very important screw without which the club would not be able to function at the top level. This is exactly our team manager Goran Negić, with whom we spoke in the new episode of "Zvezda TV".
Crvena Zvezda won the title, the sixth in a row, after a 4:1 triumph over TSC, and the match was marked by anniversaries - Borjan (300 games), Katai (200 games and 100 goals) and Dragović (100 games), but also one more. Namely, after the match, the players made a surprise in the dressing room for our team manager Goran Negić, who has been at the club for 18 years and for whom this was the 1000th game. An incredible anniversary, almost unreal in modern football, but we all know very well how much Nega is connected to Red Star and how important he is in the functioning of the coaching staff and the organization itself.
Back in 2005, he arrived at our club, and the first coach, at the same time his favorite, and the man from whom he learned the most, given that he is a tough professional, was Walter Zenga. That first generation, full of Zvezda's children, was his favorite for that very reason. He also grew up in our school, but after completing his junior internship, he broke his leg, so he understands Zvezda's children best and that's why, as he himself says, he "protects" them.
The fact that numerous footballers with whom he worked together recorded a video message congratulating him on his jubilee shows the kind of impression Nega leaves. Enjoy the new episode of "Zvezda TV".
