The star among the 11 national champions in the Champions League draw

Our club won the sixth consecutive title of Serbian champion in a dominant way with 97 points, and in addition to the 34th championship cup of the national championship, the red and whites secured a direct placement in the group stage of the Champions League. Apart from Crvena Zvezda, 10 other teams won the national championship to participate in the best competition in Europe, without qualifying matches.

In addition to the Serbian representative, Manchester City (England), Barcelona (Spain), Bayern Munich (Germany), Napoli (Italy), Paris Saint-Germain (France), Benfica (Portugal), Feyenoord (Netherlands), Salzburg ( Austria), Celtic (Scotland) and Shakhtar Donetsk (Ukraine). Of all the representatives of 11 countries, who won championship titles and secured a place in the Champions League, Zvezda was the first to do so, given that we mathematically became champions six rounds before the end of the previous season. Also, in the last competition year, our club won the most points out of all the clubs mentioned above, and we stood out in terms of another parameter.

The draw for the Champions League will be held on Thursday, August 31 at 18:00 in Monaco, when Crvena Zvezda will find out the rivals they will meet in the group stage of the Champions League, the start of which is scheduled for the second half of September.
