Zvezda donated clothes, school supplies and toys to children in the shelter

The president of our club had the opportunity to talk with the children from the hostel, and they all enthusiastically welcomed the Red Star delegation, which is a welcome guest and regularly helps this institution. The biggest club in Serbia has set an example for all citizens, who can whenever they feel the need, and have a surplus of the mentioned items, donate to the children who need it the most.

- Our employees made an effort and collected long-used clothes, school supplies, as well as toys, and on this occasion we donated the mentioned items to those who need it. Social responsibility in Red Star has been confirmed once again. First of all, I would like to point out that our club, with its reputation and attitude towards society, is an example for others to act in a similar way. This institution, where we are now, has a very difficult and important role, i.e. it provides help to those who have no means of support and no family. Through the shelter, a large number of children return to the right path and enable them to achieve great things in life. The difficulties they have in this institution are less when you do a humane gesture, as we did now, because these are small things for us, but big for the little ones, as well as the people who are hired to save them from the streets. Crvena zvezda will continue to help the shelter, as well as other institutions that need it, in this way, whenever possible, and in this way we want to raise the awareness of everyone else to do good deeds - Svetozar Mijailović was emotional.

- Thank you very much to the Red Star, which did a great job and brought us many necessary things, and they mean a lot to our institution, considering that we desperately need children's wardrobes. I hope that this beautiful gesture of Zvezda is a trigger for all other citizens, who have excess clothes to donate to us, with a note that things do not have to be dry cleaned first, and the most we need are socks, underwear, and school supplies . Also, toys cause the greatest delight in children. In our institution, we often organize numerous educational workshops, we do homework with them, we are there to lead them on the right path, to keep them off the streets and do everything to get better. We have children between the ages of five and 15, and we make sure that when they reach that age, they start working right away, because with the help of the drop-in center, we managed to open a cafe - "Bar 16" where they can make their way as bartenders and waiters and it shows how hard we try to make good and honest people out of them. In New Belgrade and Zvezdara, we have 150 children each in the shelters, and now that the school year has started, the mentioned things are necessary for us, and I want to once again thank the Red Star on behalf of all of us - Kadrijević said.
