Crvena zvezda has a great future in stopper Veljko Milosavljević, who trains with our first team and plays matches for Grafičar. Today, Milosavljević extended his contract to three years, which is the maximum possible duration for minor players.
President Svetozar Mijailović and sports director Mitar Mrkela were the first to congratulate Milosavljević on the contract, who spoke about the qualities of the talented stopper.
- Milosavljević is a talented player, he belongs to the generation of 2007 from whom we expect a lot and from whom we hope that a lot of footballers will be promoted to the first team. Veljko is one of them, because he has been attached to the first team for a long time, and he also went through several training sessions with the seniors, leaving an excellent impression and making his debut. He is currently on dual registration at Grafičar, and he has a bright future ahead of him and the contract came as a reward for effort, work and talent. The contract should be an incentive for him to work even harder and better - said Mrkela.
Milosavljević was overjoyed about the new contract with his beloved club.
- It is a great honor to extend the contract with Red Star. I made my debut last season, then played one more game, and my wish is to record minutes this competitive year as well. I am adapting to senior football and the games I play for Grafičar mean a lot to me. It's a very big difference compared to youth football, but for now everything is going well. Of course, the matches of the Champions League for young people also mean to me. We are already playing against Inter on Tuesday and we will do our best to achieve a positive result - said Milosavljević.
