Uroš Kabić in Crvena zvezda!

- I am very excited to come to such a big club as Crvena zvezda. It is truly an honor and a privilege to be in Zvezda, and my desire is to prove myself and justify my arrival. I watched all of Zvezda's games during the preparations, I saw that the team played great, and I am happy that I am coming to such a system. I'm looking forward to working with coach Barak Bahar, seeing young players get a chance and I want to be the game holder for Red Star one day. Of course, I'm also looking forward to playing in the Champions League - said Kabić, who donned the number 70 jersey.

Kabić only wanted to join Zvezda, despite the great interest of clubs from Italy.

- I would like to thank the people from Zvezda for bringing me, I am grateful that I came to the biggest club in Serbia and I want to prove myself. There was interest from Italian clubs, it was said, but Zvezda's invitation was the most specific and they had the greatest desire for me to come. Personally, I also wanted to join Zvezda.

Kabića is decorated with versatility, he can cover almost all offensive positions.

- I can play in several positions, we'll see, it all depends on the formation. Competition forces me to be better, I want to impose myself, and I have someone to fight for a place with. I'm primarily left-handed, but I also shoot well with my right.

He had a bit of bad luck with an injury last year, and then he magically returned to the pitch with a goal against Zvezda at the Maracana.

- Everything that happened happened for a reason and it's a good thing for my career that I'm here, I'm sure of that. I think that Zvezda's goal at the Maracana pushed me even further to come here. Indeed, everything happened quickly, but when I spoke with the people from Zvezda, I knew that this was it - Kabić pointed out.

- Uroš Kabić is one of the most talented young players in Serbia. He is fast, stylish, we have followed him for a long time and at first glance he gives the impression of a very talented player. I am satisfied that we made an agreement with Vojvodina and Uroš, and that he recognized Crven Zvezda as his new destination before some European clubs. I believe that he will quickly win Zvezda's audience with his outstanding speed abilities and will be an important player for our club in the future. He will play with good teammates who can raise his talent to a higher level and we are sure that Kabić can make a serious step forward. Barak Bahar is satisfied with Kabić, he watched him and appreciates his qualities, and he showed in the previous period that he has the courage to give young players a chance, and that they give it back to him, and I believe that this will be the case with Uroš as well - said Mrkela.

Our sports director believes that the stars will adore Kabić.

- I believe that Kabić in Zvezda will become a representative of Serbia and a favorite of Red Star fans, because he is an extraordinary talent. He does not have the right to play in the Youth Champions League, because he did not spend a certain number of years in our Youth School.

Eraković signed for Zenit today, and Degenek is close to returning to Zvezda.

- We still don't know anything about that, because Eraković has just signed for Zenit and there is a possibility that they will need him in the starting lineup, because Rodrigao was injured. When it comes to Degenek, it is close to both Belgrade and Crvena zvezda.

- We have met with everyone, they have been told what is expected of them in the club. They received instructions, they know how to behave - said Mrkela.

Uroš Kabić was born on January 1, 2004 in Novi Sad and passed all the junior selections of the Serbian national team. He started his career in Vojvodina, where he went through the academy to play 52 games for the first team and score four goals. He is extremely versatile, he can play as a winger, he is equally good on the right and on the left, and he can also act as the most forward player, but also a bit more withdrawn in the attacking phase.
