A total of seven football players from our club represented their national teams at the previous gathering of national teams. The most notable were goal scorers Strahinja Eraković, Kings Kangwa and Marko Stamenić, while the rest of Zvezda's first team players stood out with excellent games.
Strahinja Eraković made a new appearance for the A selection of Serbia in a friendly match against Jordan, and it didn't take long for him to make his debut in the national team jersey. It was the sixth minute when he managed phenomenally in the opponent's penalty area, and then, like experienced goal scorers, sent the ball into the net. The offshoot of Zvezda's Youth School showed that he can be effective during breaks, as he skilfully dodged the opponent's defenders and checked the goalkeeper of the opposing national team with the inside of his foot.
Kings Kangwa was also the scorer at the previous meeting of the national selections. The Zambia international produced a superb performance in the African Cup of Nations qualifier in his country's 3-0 triumph over Ivory Coast. He scored a goal and also assisted. He played past his teammate for a goal at the beginning of the second half of the game, while he hit the opponent's net after his team's counterattack when he followed the action to the end and ran to the rebound and packed the ball into the net with a very precise shot. On the other side, we watched our new centre-forward - Jean-Philippe Crassot in the jersey of Ivory Coast. The strong attacker spent 61 minutes on the field, and for that time interval he left a very good impression considering the number of duels won, successful dribbling and penetration.
Newcomer in the red and white team - Marko Stamenić led New Zealand to victory over Qatar in a friendly meeting of the national selections. In the 17th minute of the match, he hit the very corner of the goal with a very precise shot from a distance, and during the match he instilled security by maneuvering through the midfield.
Irakli Azarov played the full 90 minutes for the A national team of Georgia against Cyprus. The left back team of Crvena zvezda celebrated with 2:1, and the quick-footed Georgian again showed his enormous potential with an excellent performance. The football player born in 2002 is waiting for the European Championship in football for players up to 21 years old, which is held in Georgia and Romania.
Zvezda's winger - Osman Bukari played 17 minutes in the draw between Ghana and Madagascar. He entered the field in the last quarter of the match and immediately made a difference, but his team could not triumph in the qualifiers for the African Cup of Nations.
Andrija Radulović recorded his first minutes in the A jersey of the national team of Montenegro, when he entered the field at the start of the second half of the game. The left-footed dribbler showed the great talent that adorns him, despite the defeat of his team against the Czech national team in a friendly match.
