To meet the opponent - Radnički 1923

MUTUAL DUELS

Throughout history, we have met with Radnički from Kragujevac 55 times. Within the national championship, 31 games were played, five matches in the cup, along with 19 friendly matches. Zvezda triumphed in 41 duels, 11 times it was a draw, and Radnički celebrated only on three occasions in 1923. The goal difference is 114:24 in favor of Red Star.

In the last match, Crvena zvezda and Radnički drew Kragujevac 1:1 in the sixth round of the playoffs last season, on May 20 of this year. The only goal for our club was scored by Mirko Ivanić in an extremely effective way, and his goal was declared the most beautiful in the month of May.

TEAM FORMS

In the previous three games, two of which were in the Champions League, Crvena Zvezda first lost to Manchester City (3:1), then won against Radnicki from Niš (1:0), and finally drew with Young Boys ( 2:2). The last time Crvena Zvezda started with two defeats in the opening 10 rounds exactly 10 years ago, and it definitely has to return to the recognizable winning rhythm from earlier seasons if it wants success on all three fronts. Although Zvezda has a match less, it is in third position with 18 points won in eight matches played, while Barak Bahar's team has the best goal difference in the league - 22:7.

On the other hand, Radnički from Kragujevac occupies the penultimate, i.e., 15th position in the table, and Feđa Dudić's team has achieved only two victories in the season so far, with six defeats, while the goal difference is 7:12. In the last match, the popular "Red Devils" came out of the black series and achieved a victory on the road in Pancevo against Železničar - 0:2, while Charles and Bevis were accurate once each.

OPPOSING PLAYERS

In goal is Stojan Leković, who was in the team last season as well. Back positions are reserved for Ljubiša Pecelj and Aleksandar Popović. The stopwatch tandem should consist of young Andrija Radovanović and thirty-five-year-old Milan Mitrović. Miloš Ristić and captain Luka Zorić connect the team's lines in the middle, while Vajdi Sahli acts as a fuse in the midfield. On the flanks, Stefan Čolović with number ten and the fast Gofri Charles are active, while the forward position is reserved for Matija Gluščević, who grew up in Crvena Zvezda.
