Crvena zvezda has played 37 games against Mladost from Lucan so far, including all competitions. The red and whites triumphed in 30 meetings, five duels ended without a winner, while Mladost celebrated on only two occasions. The goal difference is absolutely on the side of our club and is 88:28.

From the beginning of the new millennium until now, Zvezda has met 27 times against the team from Lucan. The statistics from 2000 are also on the side of the club from Ljutica Bogdan, because since then we do not know of a defeat in mutual clashes.

Zvezda started the defense of the championship title in a phenomenal way. At the opening of the season, we outclassed Vojvodina with 5:0, and then we "beat" Napredak with 4:0. The goals against the team from Kruševac were scored by double scorer Jean Filip Craso, Osman Bukari and Srđan Mijailović. The triumph over Dragan Perišić's team was the ninth in a row since Israeli expert Barak Bahar sat on the bench of the Serbian champions. Our team cultivates attractive and attacking football, and this is evidenced by the convincing goal difference of 26:3 recorded in the aforementioned number of matches.

In the first two rounds of the Serbian Super League, Mladost won four points with a goal difference of 2:0. At the start of the season, they drew with Radnik (0:0) at home, but they had a player less than the second minute of the game, while in the second round they triumphed over Železničar in Pancevo with 2:0. In the preparation phase, the team led by Igor Savić from the coaching position played five control matches from which he has negative statistics. Namely, they won only once (Voždovac), drew twice (Čukarički, Radnički Niš), with two defeats (Spartak, Javor).
