MUTUAL MEETINGS

We did not have many opportunities to meet with the upcoming rival, so in our history we have played only three games against the team from Pancevo. The first one dates back to 1945, when our team was very convincing and won 18:0. Accurate for the red and whites were Jezerkić (6), Tomašević (5), Horvatinović (3), Stanković and Pečeničić (2).

In the previous season, we played against Železničar twice, and we triumphed in both meetings. In Pancevo, after the turnaround, we won 1:2, and the goals were scored by Ivanić and Mijatović. In the second part of the championship, we were convincing and won with a score of 3:0. The scorers for our team were Ivanić, Endiaje and Olanjinka.

TEAM FORM

Our football players are in great shape when it comes to the domestic championship. In the opening eight rounds, they recorded seven triumphs with only one draw, while in the previous game they defeated their eternal rival with a convincing result on the road in Humska - 0:4.

Železničar is one of the most pleasant surprises of the first part of the championship, and after nine games played, they are in position number seven. However, they did not win a point in September, as they were defeated in the matches against Vojvodina (2:0) and against OFK Belgrade (0:1). This season's triumphs were against Radnicki 1923, Jedinstva, IMT and Spartak.

OPPOSING PLAYERS

Former Red Star goalkeeper Zoran Popović is in goal. Boris Sekulić is on the right flank, while Uroš Stojanović is on the other side. The stopper tandem is reserved for Nemanja Milunović and Nemanja Vidojević, while Mirko Milikić can also be found in that position. The head of the coaching staff, Marko Savić, often changes the formation, but in most cases Francis Eze, Branislav Knežević and Matija Mitrović covered the middle of the field, and in the last duel, Seku Sanogo found himself in that position. Behind the most prominent Lazar Romanić is Stefan Pirgić. Dario Grgić, Nikola Jovanović and Luka Vidić are waiting for a chance from the bench.
