Crvena zvezda football players welcome Novi Pazar in the 4th round of the Serbian Super League, on Saturday at 20:00 at the "Rajko Mitić" stadium.
MUTUAL MEETINGS
The first mutual duel dates back to 2009, when our boys played against Pazarci in the Round of 16 of the Serbian Cup. Zvezda celebrated with a minimal score, and the hero of the match was Aleksandar Jevtić.
The red and whites have an almost perfect balance against the next opponent, and so they recorded 20 victories in 23 games, twice the match ended in a draw, while they only suffered a defeat once. The most effective actors in the matches between each other are Aleksandar Katai with six goals scored, that is, Gelor Kanga who has five goals and five assists.
We achieved the most convincing victory in the National Cup, when it was 8:0 at Maracana. Just two months earlier, the biggest triumph in the championship was recorded, as our players defeated Pazarci with 5:0. In the last game, Vladan Milojević's team won convincingly with a score of 0:3, and the goals were scored by Dragović, Kanga and Endiaje.

TEAM FORM
After a great preparatory period and winning the Friendly Cup in Russia, Zvezda started the new season with a bang and defeated Jedinstvo from Ub with a score of 4:0. In the second round of the championship, we drew against Mladost from Lucan (2:2), and the quick reaction of the team after that match was seen against Tekstilac, where the red and whites won with 0:4. Newcomers stood out in that match, as from the very beginning of the season, and Duarte, ELšnik and Milson hit the net.
Novi Pazar, on the other hand, plays erratically, in the opening match of the championship they defeated Spartak from Subotica with 3:2, while in the second round they played without goals against OFK Belgrade. Unlike our team, they did not have such a successful preparation, and they recorded one victory against Petrovac (2:0), a draw with Apoel (2:2) and one defeat against Nizhny Novgorod by a minimal score.
OPPOSING PLAYERS
The head of the coaching staff - Nikola Trajković uses 4-2-3-1 and 4-4-2 formations. Filip Pajović is in goal, Filip Bačkulja and Ognjen Beličić hold the defensive rampart, while Ivan Lakičević and Nemanja Miletić operate on the flanks. The midfield is controlled by Adetunji Adešina and Semir Alić. The wing forwards are Aleksandar Mesarović and Rodni Antvi. Behind the most advanced player is the biggest threat to many teams in the championship, former national team member Adem Ljajić, while the most dangerous is the goal of Ejika Opar. Aleksandar Kovačević, Viktor Živojinović, Ajla Jakub and Dragan Bojat are waiting for a chance from the bench.
