MUTUAL DUELS

Our team met with the next rival on 68 occasions, and the red and whites were better in as many as 49 matches played, we shared points 15 times, while only four games ended with the victory of the Kruševac team.

The first duel dates back to 1947, when our team hosted Napredek and won with a convincing 4:1.

The previous match between these two teams was played on May 16, 2024, last season as part of the championship playoffs. We triumphed in Kruševac with 4:0, and the goals were scored by Nikola Knežević and Aleksandar Katai, while Uroš Sremčević hit the net twice.

Our team is the leader in the table with 16 points won in six games played. The red and whites won five and recorded one draw, while the goal difference is 19:4. This makes Vladan Milojević's team the most efficient team in the league, and at the same time the team with the best defense. Crvena zvezda qualified for the Champions League by eliminating Boda Glimt, while in the last match in the championship before the representative break, we beat Radnički 1923 with 0:1, thanks to a goal by Mirko Ivanić.

Napredak ranks ninth in the domestic championship table with eight points. Goran Stevanović's team won twice in seven games, had the same number of draws and suffered three defeats, with a goal difference of 8:10. Kruševljani are not in an ideal mood before arriving at the Maracana, considering that they lost to OFK Belgrade on their home ground in the previous round with 1:3. The only goal for Napredak in that match was scored by Filip Krstić.

OPPOSING PLAYERS

Napredak plays in a 5-4-1 formation. In goal is the experienced Miloje Preković, born in Arandjelovac. The bulwark of five players in front of him consists of stoppers Stefan Bukorac, Jovan Marinković and Nikola Miličić, while Nikola Vukajlović and Uroš Ignjatović are in the back positions. Miloš Tošeski, Filip Krstić and Mihajlo Petković maneuver in the midfield, and in front of them Dušan Stoiljković acts as the creator of the game. The forward position is reserved for Nikola Karaklajić.
