MUTUAL DUELS

Crvena zvezda and Čukarički have played 69 games so far, including all competitions. In meetings between city rivals, our club won 55 duels, with four draws and 10 losses, and a goal difference of 115:40.

Looking through the club's history, we achieved the most convincing victory against the popular "Čuka" in the 1996/97 season, when we celebrated with a high score of 8:1 with goals from Jovicic (3), Vulević (2), Anić, Mićić and Marinović.

We played the last duel against Čukaricki on our field in the last round of the national championship for the 2023/24 season. Vladan Milojević's team scored a convincing 4:1 victory in front of a packed Maracana. The goals were then scored by Peter Olanjinka, who hit the net twice, and Nasser Djiga and Jean-Philippe Crasso.

TEAM FORMS

Zvezda is the leader in the Serbian Super League after four rounds played with an almost ideal performance. Our football players won three games, with one draw, and with a goal difference of 14:3 they are in first place. In the last match played in the championship, the team of experienced strategist Milojević defeated Novi Pazar with a high score of 4:1. Jung Woo Seol, Bruno Duarte, Timmy Max Elsnik and Puma Rodriguez hit the net for Nikola Trajković. There is no doubt that our team will go for another victory, so that red and white, full of self-confidence, will travel to Bode Glimta in Norway for the first match of the playoffs for the Champions League.

This season, Čukarički is not playing in the qualifiers for any of the European competitions, so the Brđians are focused exclusively on the championship. They opened the competition very well with three wins and one draw, and with 10 points they share the lead with our Zvezda. Goran Stanić's players beat Radnički from Niš, Vojvodina and OFK Belgrade, while they played 1:1 against Spartak. Čukarički welcomes the red and whites in a good mood, considering that it has a 1:2 triumph over "Romanticians" at the stadium in Zaječar. Thanks to the goals of Vinicius Melo and captain Marko Docić, they managed to achieve a triumph in the previous round.

OPPOSING PLAYERS

Čukarički plays in the 4-2-3-1 game system. In goal is the young Lazar Kaličanin, who passed through the youth category of this club, and his replacement is the experienced Nikola Mirković, who has an excellent season in the ranks of Novi Pazar.

The last four is made up of Zvezda's child - Nikola Stanković as a right back, and the two stoppers are the experienced Miladin Stevanović and our former student and first-team player Vukašin Jovanović. The place near the left touchline is intended for Miloš Cvetković, who arrived as a reinforcement from TSC. The three central midfielders have not changed compared to the previous season, and they are made up of captain Marko Docić, Malian international – Samba Sissoko, and Stefan Kovač, who is somewhat more offensive than them. On the flanks, Lazar Tufegdžić, a returner to Serbian football, who is an offshoot of our football academy, as well as Čukarica's top ten - Đorđe Ivanović, are performing. The most prominent is the Brazilian - Vinicius Melo.

Čukarički also has excellent options from the bench, namely Vojin Serafimović, Senegalese - Hamadi Diop, Godsvil Vadze international from Ghana, Viktor Rogan, Nemanja Milojević, Uroš Miladinović, new reinforcement from the MLS league Marinos Tsionis, our loan player Uroš Kabić and young striker Mihajlo Cvetkovic.
