The players of Red Star are visiting their eternal rival in the 9th round of the Serbian championship, and the duel is scheduled for Monday from 19:00.
MUTUAL MEETINGS
The first eternal derby was played back in 1947, and our club won away from home with a score of 3:4. The most convincing victory against Partizan was achieved on November 17, 1968, and the red and white team triumphed 6:1.
A total of 173 league games have been played in history, and the statistics are in favor of the red and whites. We came out as winners in 68 matches, 57 times there were draws, while we suffered 48 defeats, and the total goal difference is 240:205 in favor of our team.
In previous seasons, under the leadership of the current head of the profession - Vladan Milojević, these two clubs met three times. In the first championship game, our boys shared the points with black and white (2:2), while in the second they won 3:2. In the duel that was played in the semifinals of the Serbian Cup, we were dominant and won with a score of 2:0.

TEAM FORM
Vladan Milojević's men are in the leading position in the championship, and in the opening seven rounds they recorded six triumphs and only one draw. At the end of August, our team defeated Bode Glimt and qualified for the new format of the Champions League, and in the first match of the first stage they were defeated by Benfica with a score of 1:2. Although they were statistically more dominant in all parameters, the Portuguese resisted the onslaught of the red and whites and went home with three points.
Our eternal rival ended the European odyssey in the qualifiers. First, in the Champions League, he was eliminated by Dynamo from Kyiv in the second round, then by Lugano in the Europa League, only to be beaten by the Gent team in the Conference League playoffs. In the domestic championship, they are in seventh place, and in the six games they have played, they have three triumphs, they shared points twice, while they recorded a defeat in the previous round in the away game of OFK Belgrade - 3:2.
