Barak Bahar was forced to combine before the first match of the Serbian Cup this season, considering that he could not count on even 14 footballers, who defended the jerseys of their national teams during the representative break. This did not disturb our expert, considering that since the start of the season, he is counting on a large number of quality players, a few of whom got the opportunity to prove themselves against Trial. As expected, the red and white opened the game in a dominant way and took the lead in the early stages. It was the ninth minute when Crvena zvezda took the lead, then Lazar Nikolić's beautiful cross, defender Trajal - Spasojević, recklessly grabbed the ball and placed it in the small net of his own goal.
After half an hour of the game, we saw a great cross from the right flank, by the most agile player on the field - Kabić, for Knežević, who was not precise enough, and his header ended up wide of the goal. The same Zvezda footballer found himself in an almost identical chance in the 35th minute, this time after Mijailović's pass, with the fact that Jovanović then intervened. Just a minute later, Katai shot from a distance, after several nice moves, but again the goalkeeper of the home team was up to the task. In the 41st minute, we saw a disputed situation, when the referee awarded a free kick from a distance, although at first it seemed that it would be a penalty kick for Red Star. Although we had several chances, Zvezda went into the break with a minimal advantage.
The second part of the game was opened brilliantly by Barak Bahar's team, and in the 53rd minute there was another goal for Crvena Zvezda, when Dragović connected with the goal of Sherif Endiaje, who was inexorable and doubled the advantage of our club. We saw a new opportunity for the red and whites in the 62nd minute, when Zvezda's children combined - Nedeljković, Mijatović and Šljivić, while the latter threatened, but Jovanović stood in his way. Once again, the boys in our Youth School created an opportunity, specifically Šljivić and Mijatović in the 68th minute, but then Spajić lacked the concentration to head the ball into the empty net from the box.
The boys born in 2005 were in a very good mood, so in the 70th minute we saw Šljivić play for Mijatović and a new parade of home goalkeepers. Jovan Šljivić's efforts paid off in the 75th minute, when he hit the far corner of Trajal's goal after a pass from Ivanić and thus scored his first goal for Zvezda in official matches. Just two minutes later, Nikola Knežević also scored the first goal in a red and white jersey in an effective way after the ball was taken away. Today was also a big day for the namesakes - Veljko Milosavljević and Vukojević, youngsters who made their debut for our club. By the end of the match, we saw a missed penalty by Đurović in the 87th minute, who shot over the goal. A penalty for Crvena zvezda followed in the 89th minute, when the classics born in 2005 combined, and Jovan Mijatović put the ball into the net from Nedeljković's cross, while Jovan Šljivić scored his second goal of the match in the 91st minute, assisted by Lazar Nikolić. .
