Undefeated title

Zvezda, led by Miloš Milojević, but also Dejan Stanković in the first six rounds of the championship, managed to win 97 points after 37 matches with a goal difference of 96:19 and won the championship title magically with a 22-point lead over TSC. We recorded 30 wins and seven draws, and the streak of invincibility, both at the Maracana and counting all the games in the Super League, is still ongoing, given that our club has not felt the bitterness of defeat since October 2021. In a season that was definitely the most important in the recent history of the club, considering that the winner of the Super League has a direct place in the Champions League, we not only showed quality and that we are the best team in Serbia, but we managed to do it by repeating the competition year 2020 /2021. Then Zvezda, led by Dejan Stanković, recorded 35 wins and three draws in 38 matches, and broke numerous records.

Zvezda played one more season in the championship without defeat, but paradoxically failed to win the title then. It was the competitive year 2007/08 when we recorded 21 wins and 12 draws with 75 points won and a goal difference of 65:22. Unfortunately, the team led by Boško Đurovski, Milorad Kosanović, and then Aleksandar Janković in that season failed to win the title. On several occasions, Zvezda ended the season with only one defeat and managed to lift the trophy intended for the national champion at the end of the competitive year.
