Topic of the day | Zvezda's legend evoked the memory of winning the "Costa del Sol" cup

In the new edition of the "Topics of the Day" show, you can see how the jubilee of winning the "Costa del Sol" trophy, which Red Star brought to Maracana after a 2:1 victory against Malaga in Spain in 1973, was marked. In addition to Red Star, Espanyol and Boca Juniors participated in the tournament, and as an actor of the competition in which our club won the most physically difficult trophy - the famous Stanislav Karasi spoke about the importance of marking Zvezda's success.

- The "Costa del Sol" trophy is one of the biggest trophies that we brought to Belgrade. We are proud of every cup in the Star Museum, especially today as veterans of the club. We played the domestic championship, and then we were invited to the tournament in Malaga. On August 12, we just celebrated the 50th anniversary of winning the trophy. We were asked by the representatives of the Spanish club Málaga, as actors of the match in 1973, to take a photo with the cup. They also sent us jerseys, and we had the pleasure of celebrating a beautiful jubilee on the Maracana main field. I am glad that today's Zvezda first team players were there, who were very glad to be able to delve deeper into the club's great history - said Karasi.
