Topic of the day | The Maracana birthday always turns into a spectacle

Marakana celebrated its first jubilee birthday on September 8, 1973, when the red and whites defeated their eternal rival with a score of 1:0. The duel between Zvezda and Velež in 1983, on September 4, marked the 20th anniversary of our club's existence, and will be remembered for the 1:0 victory in front of a full stadium. Already a decade later, in 1993, the 30th birthday of Marakana was celebrated on September 6, and our team beat Zemun 3:0, while in 2003, on the fourth anniversary, we defeated Radnički also with 3:0 on September 20. The celebration of half a century of Maracana was remembered for the 2:2 draw with Donji Srem on September 15, 2013, and the positive birthday tradition in Ljutice Bogdan was continued, Barak Bahar's players confirmed with a 2:1 victory over Novi Pazar at the celebration 60th birthday.
