- Being an assistant to the head of the coaching staff entails a lot, from the preparation and analysis of matches to the actual work on the field. This is a very demanding and extensive job, which takes place under the patronage of the head coach, in this case Barak Bahar. As you know, I had a detour to the position of assistant, considering that for the past year I was a member of the scouting service of Red Star, while I came at the invitation of Marko Marin, but it is a great honor to be an assistant at such a big club, and I will give everything from myself to perform my work at the highest possible level. I am a coach by profession and I joined the scouting team in order to help from the coaching side during scouting and bringing in players, i.e. I gave my opinion on footballers, their profiles, and the game systems they fit into. I studied to be a coach, got my pro license, therefore I aspired to become a coach one day. I can say with pleasure that a large number of players we scouted last season are now with us and it will be an honor to work with them, and I believe they will bring a lot to Red Star - said Boris Savić.
