Stojkovski: Our Star is powerful, we can deal with everyone

- Zvezda's new entry into the Champions League is a great success. A huge achievement for Serbia, but for the entire Balkans. It will be a real spectacle to follow the greats at the Maracana again, I'm really excited. Zvezda played brilliantly against Boda Glimt. I also sent off the transition period, all praise for Vladan Milojević. In a short period of time, he managed to "instruct" the team to play well, despite the fact that some players appeared in the first lineup after only a few training sessions. It's been a long time since our players looked so dominant and created chances as easily as in the return match. I am very satisfied and such a game makes me euphoric before the start of the Champions League - pointed out Stojkovski commendably.

Zvezda will host Stuttgart at the "Rajko Mitić" stadium, and the former football player of our team spoke about the way the German club functions. 

- They have changed the way of doing business since I was in Germany. Now they no longer bring finished products like before, but develop young players, which in my opinion is commendable. They lacked consistency in the past period, so they were on the border between the Bundesliga and "Cvaita", but now they have found a balance and that has brought them results. I don't see them as high quality as last year, they sold the best players, and at the same time they don't have any purchasing power at the moment. Their coach is good, one of the youngest in the league, he is pushing an improved version of the classic German system. They play very physically hard and come out high in pressing, although watching the game against Boda Glimt, I realized that Zvezda also does it on a serious level. They will be greeted by a full Maracana, there's nothing wrong with that, Crvena Zvezda is a big club and must not play differently from what it did on the field in the return match against the Norwegians. Such a game will make him a favorite against Stuttgart. We have great technicians and their play on the ball is one of the ways to break through the German pressing. 

Stojkovski also referred to the atmosphere at the largest Serbian stadium.

- Our atmosphere is magical. Zvezda's fans are certainly one of the best and most ardent in the world. Stuttgart is considered a club with good fans, but it is not at all comparable. They will come to play in Belgrade, no doubt, but they are not ready for this kind of atmosphere. I'm always happy to come to Zvezda matches, if I wouldn't experience the cheering of our supporters again, there's nothing like that anywhere in the world.

Mitko Stojkovski confirmed that the participation of Zvezda in the new format of the Champions League is extremely important. 

- It's completely different, a bit strange, but we'll see how it will look this season. I am certainly happy because there will be more games at Maracana and I will watch them all. I believe that it will not be easy for anyone and we have drawn teams that we can handle. We can beat anyone in front of our fans. I think the new format increases the chances of going further and I think that is realistic this season. It's good that we had the playoffs before this "league" phase. Now we know what are the flaws that need to be worked on, but we also know that our Star is extremely powerful - concluded Mitko Stojkovski.
