Stamenić: At Zvezda it's like at home, I'm impatient for the Maracana and the Champions League

- Of course, we are satisfied that we managed to win two very important games in the tournament. There is still a game against Fenerbahçe and it would be nice to win the "Pari Cup". However, the goal of this tournament is to play as well as possible, both as a team and individually, to get in shape, and I think we are doing well. Personally, I feel great, as if I have been in Zvezda all my life. Indeed, this is my home, the coaching staff and teammates welcomed me like that, and on the field I have the impression that I have been playing for Zvezda all my life. That is extremely important to me, I am happy that I have come to the right middle and I am looking forward to what follows - started Stamenić.

The young midfielder has only words of praise for the coaching staff.

- It is a pleasure to work with a professional staff like this one. I like that everyone is dedicated to the details, we work on the finesse both when it comes to attack and defense. It is important that communication is good in order to be able to adapt to what is asked of us. Indeed, everything works perfectly

The Champions League is what all the stars are talking about.

- We are all thinking about the Champions League, and in accordance with Zvezda's history, we know that the fans have high expectations for what follows. It's all normal. I thank them for their support, both in Užice and in St. Petersburg. However, I have to say that I can't wait to play at the Maracana. I watch the cheering clips and I'm really looking forward to having the opportunity to play in front of the Zvezda fans

He mostly hangs out with Mitrović, Glazer and Mijatović.

- Mitrović helps me the most with adaptation, but I'm good with everyone. There is also Glazer, we are both newbies, roommates, we hang out. I sit with Mijatović on the bus, he mostly teaches me Serbian, because his English is not very good, but we manage to get along. We laugh all the time, very good guy. For now, I know basic words like - thank you, good evening, stronger - that's what my father used to say to me when I was little and training.

Despite the intense training, he manages to use his free time in the right way.

- Free time is found, although the work is really at a high level. However, I like to go around the city, to walk, to relax like that. I also liked Serbia very much, I was in Novi Sad, it is my father's hometown, I have relatives there. Also, Belgrade is fantastic, it seems that something is always happening. People are very hospitable.

However, he misses his family to whom he is very attached.

- I miss my family the most, but we manage to talk on the phone, despite the fact that they are in a different time zone - said Stamenić.
