Playful Zvezda quickly took the lead in the third minute of the game. The ball didn't even roll from the center, and Ranković took advantage of the uncertainty in Partizan's defense and played past Aleksa Vasilić, who dribbled free from the keeper and hit the far corner. Just four minutes later, Vasilić stepped on stage again. Zvezda played a good counter, Đorđević played past Vasilić on the edge of the penalty area, and he "removed the cobwebs" from Jovanović's goal.

Zvezda's "blickrig" continued, so our younger cadets scored another goal in the next minute. Once again, Ranković was the creator, and that right side attack of Zvezda was fatal for the rival. He played past Urođ Đorđević, he settled on his left foot and accurately beat Jovanović. Vilotić's pulls did not stop there, and everything started again from Ranković who shot from the edge of the penalty area, Jovanović deflected the ball, and Stefan Mladenovski ran onto it and placed it in the net in the 14th minute.

Partizan's defenders were insecure even in the 16th minute, so Manojlovic intercepted the ball, beat Mladenovski, and he beat Jovanovic from the edge of the penalty area. Kostić retaliated with a goal from a free kick in the 23rd minute by which the captain of the eternal rival reduced the score. However, not for long, and again the "culprit" was Vasilić. Đorđević took the ball from his rival 25 meters from the goal, played past Vasilić, he set himself up, and again hit the crossbar from the edge of the penalty area.

Substitute Tošić could have scored in the 43rd minute, right after coming on, but the goal post of Jovanović, who was in a gust of wind, shook. However, the home team managed to reduce the score with Totic's goal in the 72nd minute, but not to alleviate the defeat, considering that Zvezda has nine points, but also a game more than Partizan.
