Savić: The youth showed themselves brilliantly, they are Zvezda's future

- The cup is a specific competition. Today the field was not ideal for the game, however I think it was very important that we scored a goal on time. We managed to do that already at the beginning of the match and to bring the game into a calmer flow. He is especially happy about the entry into the game of young footballers from Zvezda Youth School, who made their debut. The relationship they showed was great, they received awards in the form of goals and assists, they are Zvezda's future - said Savić.

Savić pointed out that the young players were given a chance, which they took advantage of.

- It is not easy, a large number of players did not play in today's match. The football players who were on the field showed that they are in Red Star for a reason, as well as their quality. In addition, they had a fantastic attitude towards the jersey they wear, and the result of all that is a convincing victory.

The victory at the start of the competition in the Serbian Cup will be of great importance to the first team of Red Star before the busy schedule that awaits them.

- Certainly a very important victory, especially without conceding a goal. We also scored six goals, which is extremely significant. It gives us the wind at our backs and raises the atmosphere before very important matches - concluded Savić.
