Šabac proved his loyalty to Zvezda by means of a caravan

The city located in western Serbia is known as the star environment. Šabac has about 55,000 inhabitants, and more than 70% of the population are fans of the most trophy-winning Serbian club.

The red and white fan zone, decorated with balloons with Zvezda's coat of arms, was set up at Šabački žrtava Square today around 18:00. Immediately at the beginning, a large number of fans gathered to support and express their enthusiasm for the arrival of Crvena Zvezda in the city on the banks of the Sava River. Unlike the previous two days, there was no precipitation, so the atmosphere during the three-hour meeting was at an enviable level.

Our fans enjoyed taking pictures with the trophies, especially the Champions League cup, as well as the domestic competitions that our players won in the past season. The youngest stars from this city were especially happy about it. Zvezda's songs were heard from afar on the public address system and attracted curious passers-by, who sympathetically approached the fan zone and without thinking decided to take a seat in front of the membership desk. Our 12th player decided to make his love for the club official, and we became stronger by 83 members.

Our delegation was met by friendly hosts who emphasized the high level of organization of the action itself, and some Šabac residents recalled how it was two years ago when we also visited one of the largest star cities.

Crvena zvezda continues its caravan already tomorrow, and the next stop is Požarevac.

As a reminder, Slavoljub Srnić from Šapča is currently playing for Crvena zvezda. Many other players who wore the red and white jersey are also connected to this city and our club. Throughout history, the best-known examples are Vojislav Melić, Zoran Riznić, and in recent history the attacker Aleksandar Jevtić.
