The youth and cadet selection of Crvena zvezda finished the preparatory period with maximum performance and are eagerly awaiting the start of the season, which is scheduled for August 12, when both teams will meet Brodarac on the grounds of our club's Youth School.
The youngsters of Crvena zvezda gathered on July 7, and to date they have played five friendly matches, i.e. one in Belgrade and four on the pitches in Kruševac, Paraćin and Vrnjačka Banja. Nenad Milijaš's team played their first match on July 17 when, on the hottest day in Belgrade, they welcomed the Sinđelić seniors behind the south stand of the Rajko Mitić stadium and celebrated with 4:2 - goals from Veljko Vukojević, Stefan Radujek, Uroš Tegeltija and Darij Markočević.
Then followed the period spent in Vranjačka Banja from July 20 to 30, when our pearls met four teams and achieved the same number of victories - Napredka (6:1), the first team of Jedinstva from Paraćin (4:1), Iskra from Danilovgrad (6:1) and Radnički from Kragujevac (3:0). The last control game, the red and whites played against Honved on August 5 and registered a new victory of 3:0. In the aforementioned matches, the youth selection of Crvena Zvezda scored 22 goals, and conceded only three, while we saw as many as 13 different scorers. Darije Markočević, Stefan Radujko, Veljko Vukojević and Stefan Jović scored three goals each, Novak Gojkov was accurate twice, while Aleksa Cvetković, Aleksa Vasilić, Veljko Milosavljević, Nenad Krivokapić, Mateja Bubanj, Stefan Golubović scored once. as well as Uroš and Dragan Tegeltija.
On the other hand, the cadet selection of Crvena zvezda played a total of six friendly matches, and an interesting fact is that in none of the matches did Slađan Nikolić's team score less than five goals. The red and white pearls born in 2007 and 2008 were in great spirits and fired up, and they recorded all the victories with an incredible goal difference - 37:4. They played the first match in Belgrade against the Ole team and celebrated with a score of 6:1, then there were matches in Kraljevo, against Kicker (10:0) and OFK Karađorđe (10:1), before they celebrated in Vrnjačka Banja against the youth team of Trajal with the result 6:1. Before leaving for Hungary, they played a match on the pitches behind the south stand of the Rajko Mitić stadium and won 5:1 against Brodarc, and at the last check they were better than Ujpest on the side with as much as 8:0.
