At 18:00, Barak Bahar's players ran out onto the field to do the afternoon training, i.e. the fifth training in a row as part of the preparatory cycle in Zlatibor.
As was the case in the morning, a strong downpour greeted the red and white boys when they stepped onto the grass, but this time the rain did not stop our players from working hard. The training lasted more than 75 minutes, and in that time period all the ideas of the professional staff planned for this afternoon were fulfilled. Also, the team was joined by the super talented young stopper Strahinja Eraković, who returned to the team after completing his representative duties.
The introductory part of the training was marked by the activation of the players, but it quickly moved on to the further phase of work. In the following, the ball "wrote" on the field, as our boys practiced receiving and passing in order to additionally prepare for the more intense segment of training. This was followed by the well-known game of "guarding the ball", which was specially set up on a field of shorter dimensions. Quick thinking and changing the rhythm of movement were set as requirements for this exercise, while small goals were also included to make the game more interesting.
Soon we witnessed a game of football with two goals with the primary focus on the finish and realization. The young Jovan Šljivić stood out as a football player whose kicks "toughed" our goalkeepers to save the net, and Zvezda's child showed the devastating howitzer he possesses in his legs. Along with all the first team members of our club, Gelor Kanga and Mirko Ivanić deserved praise, whose shooting abilities we have seen many times so far.
The real treat for the players came at the very end of today's work. The last request from the red and white staff was a goal in the last third of the pitch, and we watched a handful of attractive goals scored by the Red Star players.
