Radonjić: I am hungry for trophies and success with Zvezda

Radonjić was first welcomed to Zvezda by president Svetozar Mijailović and sports director Mitar Mrkela, who then spoke about him.

- I believe that all the star players are satisfied with the return of Nemanja Radonjić, as we are. We talked to Nemanja for a long time at the club, we wanted him to come back. He had a great season at Red Star when he became a fan favorite. He is one of the most deserving of Red Star's first placement in the Champions League and I believe he will be as good as he was last term. We need Nemanja's speed, dribbling, goals, and I believe that's what awaits us. He left Zvezda for Olympique Marseille in a record transfer at the time. He then played in quality leagues, in the championships of France, Italy, and Spain, with a lot of matches for the national team. He has adapted to a high level and it is certain that he will immediately be able to contribute to Red Star in achieving their goals.

Radonjić is overjoyed to return home, there is no dilemma.

- Honestly, I am overjoyed to be back, because I really wanted to play in the Champions League with Zvezda. After RB Salzburg when we qualified for the Champions League I went to Marseille, but now I'm excited to come back. I played for six years abroad, I have matured a lot as a footballer and I am more ready than ever to help Zvezda, both in Europe and in the championship. I am hungry for trophies and success with Zvezda and I hope that we will continue to win double crowns, and that we will go to the "knockout" phase of the Champions League. We have a good team for that and I can't wait to run again at Maracana - said Radonjić, who will wear number 49 in Zvezda.
